It'll take a bit of time to get into a routine, but my aim will be to have a photograph of the finished dish for all the recipes. I am in the process of photographing most of my lunches and dinners, so I can post the recipes and pictures together in future.

I hope that the photos will help – I hate making new recipes I've never heard of with no picture, no idea of what I'm aiming for.

Cookalicious will be designing, formatting and illustrating each recipe and will hopefully give you all the information you'll need to succeed. On that note, your comments and feedback are very welcome.

Photographic Quality – A work in progress!

Currently there are some photos missing, and others of pretty poor quality. All I can say is, it's early days…and I'm working on it.

The problem I am struggling with is my fluorescent lighting/digital camera/wooden table and worktops combination. Basically it appears to be a digital camera's personal nightmare! At the moment quite a few of my pictures have a decidedly orange-tinge that I can't quite clean up (and I promise my food doesn't) – disaster!

It's something to work on. I'm much happier taking photos outside, so if you're interested, check out www.cloudysky.co.uk.

I'll be updating and adding to the photos as I get more.
